Take it in hand, rock it, sing it! , announces the programme of the music workshop Ringato based on Kodály principles. The playful re-discovery of songs, folk songs and mundanes, together singing and playing, offers young children and their parents the opportunity to re-acquaint themselves with the popular music profession that has become known nationwide and internationally.
Monday at 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Henrietta Vadai awaits parents, grandparents, pregnant mothers who want to sing together in a family atmosphere, play music with their young children.
Age class: 0-3 years

After the session, stay in the free playhouse and play with your children, while it will be possible to have a little chat!

Since 1991, the National Music Education Program of Ringato has been for pregnant mothers and young children up to three years of age and for their parents and grandparents. We are currently present at 559 locations with 177 managers.
The professional leader and founder of our program is Ilona Gállné Gróh, Hungarian Academy of Arts special prize winner, International Katalin Forrai Award winner.
The Ringato session, based on the Ringato method awarded in 2021, is for families with small children, we give half-hour sessions to the smallest (from a few months of age to the beginning of kindergarten) and their parents on a weekly basis.
Following the instructions of Kodály Ringató, we show the parents a pattern with live singing, instrumental playing, mostly musical material from the Hungarian folk tradition, music education in the family, songs from other peoples, poetry from Hungarian poets, and valuable, composed children's songs.
Our goal, the already mentioned pattern giving to young parents, and the fact that adults, especially mothers, should not be afraid to sing.
We would like you to experience the joy of singing together, and we would like to recall the Hungarian folk songs learned at school, but we have already forgotten them, and we can add new songs to the songs of adults.
We hope that our work will result in more and more families directing their young children to valuable music. [Sighs]
